INDEPENDENT OUTSIDE SALES REP - ALL TERRITORIES
Climate Outdoor is currently seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative
for all Canadian and US territories.
- To solicit and develop new accounts within the winter sport, outdoor and select boutique retail accounts and channels.
- Creation and management of an organized record and follow up process for all prospect and account calls.
- Maintain and manage all aspects of prospect and account databases. This requires attention to detail, timely and accurate completion of records and a disciplined behavior and attitude.
- Act as key Climate Outdoor representative for all related events including: Trade Shows, Contests, and other Industry events.
- Relate design interest and strategy to Climate Outdoor internal team to assist in customer interest and direction
- Work with retailer to assist in marketing events, strategic product positioning and development of POP, Signage and additional promotional material
- Working within account relationships to secure competitive brand information, fashion trends and overall market conditions.
- At least three years of documented, successful outside sales within a related industry, or a proven position (of at least 3 years) in the active sports industry.
- A demonstrated history of building and influencing customer relationships, and achieving specific sales goals and objectives. Please be prepared to substantiate any and all referenced sales claims.
- Excellent organizational, prospecting, canvassing/territory management and closing skills.
- It is required that the candidate be a disciplined self-starter and possess a high work ethic, with the ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated use of effective time and territory management skills
- A professional appearance, demeanor and attitude are an absolute must.
COMPENSATION - 100% COMMISSION BASED:
8% of Dealer Wholesale Cost up to the first $500,000./ 10% for $500,000+
*** Bonuses will be offered for large/Multi door account capture.
Calculations are based upon calendar year and total annually. Commission payments are made monthly based upon shipment, not based upon payment/receivable.
